The IOS Environmental Trust became a Wildlife Trust in September 2001. Susie Taylor from the Scillonia Digital Workshop helped create their website and Radio Scilly listeners got to see the site as it was developed. Here Susie talks to Keri on the breakfast show.

Pete Hobson travels on the Scillonian III from Penzance to Hughtown and talks to Purser Ray Jeffrey and now retired skipper Paul Rowe. The islands have been fogbound and the air transport has been suspended for the day, so the boat is making a double trip.

1999 Archive . Radio Scilly began its 1999 broadcast with tragic news. At around 10pm on October 1st a Newlyn based crabber, Rachel Harvey, sank off Penninins. 35 year old Andrew Dyson died. RNLI Hon Sec John Nicholls talks about the incident just after the lifeboat is launched and coastguard Mike Collier breaks the sad news the next morning.
